FigureWorkplace Gender Equality Report 2016

In accordance with Australian government legislation, WorleyParsons has submitted the Workplace Gender Equality report for the 2015/2016 reporting period.The Workplace Gender Equality Act (WGEA) replaced the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Act (EOWW Act) formerly in place.

The Act introduced a streamlined reporting and compliance framework and places a focus on the following areas:

  • Improving gender equality in the workplace
  • Equal remuneration between women and men

  • Eliminating discrimination based on gender, family and caring responsibilities

  • Workplace consultation on gender equality

  • Productivity and competitiveness

The legislation aims to improve and promote equality for both women and men in the workplace.
