Based in the firm's Sacramento Public Affairs group, Waters will work with current clients and expand the Latino and Spanish-language offering throughout the West Coast.

Waters joins with nearly 20 years of experience in communications, media and public affairs. Most recently, Governor Brown appointed her as the deputy director of public affairs for the California Department of Parks and Recreation. She also served as director of media relations at the California Charter Schools Association, the political correspondent for La Opinión and a reporter for the international news agency Agencia EFE. She has also worked as a reporter for Univisión stations in Sacramento, Calif. and Corpus Christi, Texas.
