FWD Hong Kong, together with MEC and Pixels, has announced the launch of an individually customized playlist for Travelers on Spotify, an Asia-first from the insurance sector, and an industry-first initiative to bring personalized music content across all devices to the next level.

Spotify's digital music streaming platform provides its 75M active users across the globe with convenient, and both free and paid access to over 30 million tracks.

Albert Chan, Chief Marketing Officer, FWD Hong Kong and Macau said, "The FWD Hong Kong channel launched on Spotify last year has helped us strengthen our connection with the younger generation through music. By introducing personalized travel playlists to Spotify users, we aim to create a refreshing experience further realizing our vision to change the way people feel about insurance."

Through Spotify's Web API, users can create their own customized playlists utilizing Spotify's Music Intelligence. Participants only need to enter their travel destination and music preference on the campaign site (http://www.musicfwdhk.com/) to generate their tailor-made music playlists, which can then be streamed across all Spotify platforms. Users can also share the playlists created with their friends on Facebook and encourage them to participate."

Pixels, the advertisings sales representative of Spotify in Hong Kong facilitated the FWD and Spotify cooperation with MEC Hong Kong. The initiative is supported with the launch of three music playlists on FWD Spotify Channel at (https://play.spotify.com/user/fwdhongkong). In addition, a Facebook game will be running until the end of the month. The game will encourage users to share their customized playlists generated on their Facebook pages. Participants will have a chance to win annual Spotify annual subscriptions as well as 30-day travel insurance plans by FWD.
