HELSINKI - Maxus today announced the appointment of Miko Paassilta as managing director, Finland.

The announcement was made by Maxus EMEA CEO, Federico De Nardis. Paassilta will be based in Helsinki, reporting into De Nardis. He joined Maxus on 1 August.

Paassilta previously held the role of head of marketing at Nokia Finland and the Baltic States (2008-2014). Following that, he held the role of head of marketing at Microsoft Mobile for Finland and the Baltic States before joining Maxus.

The appointment of Paassilta comes at a time when Maxus is providing a full range of services to all its global and regional clients in all the Nordic countries.

Federico De Nardis EMEA CEO Maxus said: "With Miko stepping in as Maxus' first MD for Finland we're now completing the structure of our Nordic operations. Miko is bringing solid digital expertise and client-side insights to an already experienced team. Maxus has grown mainly with local clients in each Nordic market up to this point in time. It's now the right moment to approach clients in the Nordic region to demonstrate our new approach, with digital and creativity at the core, based on our new 'smart data' platform."
