The New Team
We are setting up full operations in Ghana and Tanzania. As such, we have a new team of digital talent to manage our operations in these frontiers. Please welcome Surya Narayanan, Thomas Schoemaecker and Cathleen Lynch, the respective country/ practice leads.
Surya Narayanan has joined us as the General Manager for West Africa and will be responsible for the overall agency relationship. He will help us drive digital
agenda and overall integrated approach for the Western market. I have had the pleasure of working with Surya when he was leading the digital business in Squad for Safaricom back in 2011. After that he relocated to Indonesia and now he is back with the group to lead our digital offering for West Africa.
Thomas Schoemaecker is joining as GM for the Tanzanian office. He is a French executive with over 10 years' experience in Eastern Africa, with the last 3 years having been spent at Google Kenya where he was leading the Beba Pay initiative with Equity Bank. Besides that, he has been working very closely with publishers, content creators and advertisers in the Francophone markets.
Cathy has joined us as the Head of Performance Marketing. Before moving to Nairobi, she was working as a Digital Media Director for the Maxus New York Office, specifically focused on direct response clients such as Barclays and the Harvard Business School. She has roughly 15 years' experience in digital media across a wide range of clients and categories.
