Global research consultancy TNS, announced today the appointment of James Conrad to Managing Director, Brazil. James will be transferring from his position as Executive Vice President, West Region Lead for TNS’s U.S. business, where he oversaw a period of significant growth.

James is a true ‘Americas’ citizen. Starting his career at Millward Brown, he spent the next 17 years working from the most southern to the most northern points in the Americas region. From 1999 through 2001, he lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina where he was responsible for the expansion of the Millward Brown business across Latin and Central America. In between TNS and Millward Brown, James spent two years at GfK where he was Managing Director, Brand and Communications for North America. With more two decades of experience in Market Research, James has held various senior industry leadership positions including Chairman of the ARF in Canada, Chairman of the Research Agency Council and as a National MRIA Board Member

In connection to Conrad’s appointment TNS also announced today the appointment of Rogerio Monteiro to Executive Vice President, West Region. He will be joining from GfK where he most recently served as Managing Director, Technology for North America.

Rogerio has fourteen years of diversified market research experience on both the client and vendor side, including research management roles for both General Motors and Kraft Foods.

Regarding his new role, Rogerio said, “What attracted me to TNS was their disciplined approach to meeting clients’ needs and driving impact within their organizations. It’s both unique and invigorating. I see a huge opportunity for us to keep the momentum going and bring more to our clients across the U.S. We want them to see us as an extension of their research staff.”

Both James and Rogerio will report to Mike Gettle, CEO TNS Americas.
