SINGAPORE - Martin Conneen, president of Wunderman Asia Pacific, is set to expand the agency's Microsoft team with the addition of a new regional business director. Marketing veteran Amy Slayter takes up the mantle, effective immediately. Slayter will oversee Wunderman's relationship with this key client and will support all aspects of the business across the region.

"CRM agencies are at a pivot point," Slayter said. "Communication channels are being driven by data-led insights and optimisations instead of publisher-led engagements. My goal is to influence the way clients like Microsoft go to market- with the Wunderman creative team producing brilliant work to showcase Microsoft's products and services, coupled with a highly effective, response-driven campaign platform."

Slayter might be new to the Wunderman network, but certainly not to digital and relationship marketing strategies. She has over 14 years of experience working for both clients and agencies, with a wide range of expertise in direct, partner, retail and media. Prior to Wunderman, Slayter served as client services director at DWA and senior marketing manager at SAP.

Originally from the United States, Slayter has been in Asia for the last eight years, living in Singapore and Thailand. In her new role, Slayter will continue to be based in Singapore and will report to Steven Power, general manager of the office there.

"Amy brings to the table a wonderful mix of business savvy, technological fluency and an intuitive understanding of our current landscape," Power said. "At Wunderman, we want to make it personal for clients, and these qualities are essential for turning mere numbers into meaningful insights."
