NEW YORK and LONDON - WPP (NASDAQ: WPPGY), the world's largest communications services group with billings of US$76 billion and revenues of US$19 billion, has been named one of America's 500 best employers by Forbes magazine in its April 13, 2015 edition.
The publisher engaged New York-based Statista, Inc. to survey 20,000 employees working across 25 different industries in companies that employ more than 2,500 people to develop the rankings. WPP is the only company in the communications services industry to place among the top 500 employers.
This week, WPP was also named, for the fourth consecutive year, the World's Most Effective Holding Company in the 2015 Effie Effectiveness Index, which recognizes the effectiveness of marketing communications.
