Strategic insight and innovation consultancy The Futures Company announces the appointment of Henry Tucker as EMEA managing director, effective immediately. Tucker, currently deputy managing director of the company's EMEA business, takes over the role from Sarah King, who is transferring to a new position within Kantar.

Tucker assumes responsibility for the overall performance of the EMEA business. He will report to The Futures Company CEO Will Galgey and will be based in London.

Tucker has a close association with many of the company's major clients, including Mondelez, Reckitt Benckiser and Coca Cola. He has led foresight and innovation projects across a range of sectors and markets. More recently he has focused on developing growth strategies for clients in the fast growing markets of Africa.

Prior to The Futures Company, which he joined in 2008, Tucker held a number of client-side roles in innovation and marketing at companies including Cadbury Schweppes, GSK and Nestlé.
