WPP PLC : Buys 75,000 Own Shares To Hold In Treasury

LONDON--WPP PLC (WPP.LN), Friday it acquired 75,000 of its own ordinary shares of 10 pence each for cancellation, and said the shares were acquired at a price of 747.0 pence per share.
WPP shares closed Friday at 747 pence, valuing the company at GBP9.41 billion.
