MANILA, PHILIPPINES (May 19, 2015) - Wyndham Hotel Group, the world's largest and most diverse hotel company, has entered into a franchise agreement to introduce its select-service lifestyle hotel brand, TRYP by Wyndham®, to the Philippines.

Under the terms of the agreement with master franchisee Microtel Inns & Suites (Pilipinas) Inc., at least eight TRYP by Wyndham hotels will be developed in the country over 10 years, with the first property expected to open at the Mall of Asia in Pasay City in 2016. With this agreement, the Philippines becomes the first country in Southeast Asia to welcome the TRYP by Wyndham brand.

The agreement is a key step in Wyndham Hotel Group's strategy to bring the brand to the Asia-Pacific region and other key markets around the world. The first TRYP by Wyndham locations in Mexico City and Abu Dhabi opened in April and March of this year, respectively.

Found in the heart of the world's greatest cities, TRYP by Wyndham hotels offer business and leisure travellers one part experience and one part destination with contemporary, unique lodging options in some of the world's most cosmopolitan cities, including Brisbane, Barcelona, Paris, Lisbon, Berlin, Buenos Aires and New York City.
