Xeros is thrilled to confirm it has signed its second Symphony Project agreement. The project was first launched in April 2017 to provide manufacturers of conventional commercial washing machines with 'open source' access to Xeros' revolutionary polymer technology.

The technology involves a simple retrofit pedestal that can be integrated into traditional washing machines with minimal disruption to the manufacturing process. Compatible with almost any size or brand of conventional machine, the pedestal is easily implemented right at the end of the production line.

Last fall, Xeros' Symphony Project, wasnamed Sustainability Product of the Year in the 2017 Sustainability Awards program by the Business Intelligence Group.

The Xeros Symphony Project enables manufacturers to be able to sell their own-branded products in the marketplace while also receiving a share in the long-term savings Xeros' technology delivers. The overarching aim of the initiative is to enable brand partners to offer customers a more sustainable laundry system with significant operational and end-user benefits, while also retaining their hard-earned brand loyalty.

So, what exactly do you get when you join the Symphony Project? Well, it includes access to Xeros' unique polymer science, product designs, its IoT platform and if that wasn't enough, access to its entire commercial laundry ecosystem.

The Xeros system uses 80% less water and delivers a gentler and far superior wash thanks to the polymer technology it harnesses which gently removes soil and stains from fabrics extremely effectively. While traditional machines use between 40% and 70% hot water, Xeros only uses 5%, on average - so with less water to heat, more energy is saved and energy bills are reduced, helping its customers stay as competitive as possible.
