Xerox (NYSE:XRX) announced today the appointment of Sue Watts as executive vice president of business and operations planning for Xerox Services, reporting to Robert Zapfel, president of Xerox’s Services business. She will join the company on Nov. 24.

“Sue is an industry veteran with deep experience leading global organizations and business transformation initiatives in business process outsourcing (BPO), applications management and development and IT outsourcing (ITO) operations,” said Zapfel. “I’m confident she will strengthen our ability to deliver excellence to our clients and strong results for our company.”

Watts comes to Xerox from Capgemini, a French consulting, outsourcing and professional services company where she served as CEO for the Americas Outsourcing Business before leading delivery, human resources, and transformation for Application Services, a $5 billion business with 50,000 employees worldwide.

Prior to Capgemini, Watts spent time at Orange Business Services, a global IT and communications services provider, as the head of their Americas Business; and 24 years at Unisys, a $5.7 billion global IT and services company, serving in a range of senior positions, including vice president and managing partner of Worldwide Strategic Planning and vice president and managing partner of North America, Global Outsourcing.

A 1984 business graduate of Indiana University, she completed her MBA at the University of Notre Dame.

“Sue will work with our leadership to further drive offer development and strategy,” added Zapfel.
