NEW YORK, March 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- TheBump.com, the fastest-growing pregnancy and parenting website, and CT Working Moms, an award-winning online resource for women balancing work and family life, today announced March 4, 2014 as Moms for Moms Day - an effort to end the mommy wars and promote judgment-free motherhood. In support of this campaign, Governor Dannel Malloy has officially declared March 4 as Moms for Moms Day in Connecticut.

Whether it's the topic of breastfeeding versus formula, working versus stay at home or nanny versus day care, all moms can relate to passing and receiving judgments. Moms for Moms Day was created to stop the combative opinions between moms and to empower every woman to feel comfortable, confident and proud of her choices as a mom or mom-to-be.

"Motherhood is hard enough without the judgments," says Carley Roney, founder of TheBump.com. "We're proud to join CT Working Moms to encourage women everywhere to accept each other's parenting choices (without judging), and to support and be open to learning from a fellow mom who does things completely different."

As an expansion of CT Working Moms Campaign for Judgment-Free Motherhood, Moms for Moms Day calls on all moms to snap a photo of themselves holding a sign stating their mommy truth-- a supportive message for other moms-- and share it on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook and include #moms4moms, @thebump and @ctworkingmoms.

"We are excited to collaborate with The Bump on Moms for Moms Day," says Michelle Noehren, founder of CTWorkingMoms.com. "We believe that letting go of our judgments and embracing our differences helps create a sense of sisterhood and support between moms. We're honored to have the opportunity to spread that message to a wide audience."

The Bump and CT Working Moms will celebrate Moms for Moms Day on March 4 by hosting an event in NYC to show support for judgment-free motherhood. The event will feature a discussion led by influential moms, including Carley Roney, Michelle Noehren, lifestyle and parenting expert Samantha Ettus, and Alicia Ybarbo and Mary Ann Zoellner, co-authors of Sh*tty Mom. The Moms for Moms Day event will be live-streamed on Google+ from 6:30-7:30 p.m. ET so moms across the country can join in on the discussion and show their support no matter where they're located.
