BOURNE END - Jan. 5, 2017 - Zebra Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ZBRA), a global leader in providing solutions and services that give enterprises real-time visibility into their operations, today announced the appointment of Richard Hudson as Vice President and General Manager for Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Richard will provide strategic leadership to build and maintain Zebra's position within key vertical markets such as retail and transportation and logistics. He will also focus on growing Zebra's relevance in key markets such as manufacturing, healthcare and supplies.

With approximately 44 offices in 24 countries, EMEA represents a significant region for Zebra Technologies, contributing to more than 30 percent of overall revenue. Hudson's appointment signifies Zebra's continued commitment to serving partners well and strengthening the business in the EMEA region.
Hudson will continue to ensure current and potential customers are able to embrace the digitization of their businesses easily and efficiently throughout the EMEA region.
Over the last year as Vice President of Sales for EMEA, Hudson reinforced the regional sales organization, focused on fostering partner and customer relationships.
Keen to maintain momentum and drive innovation across the region, Hudson also supports the strengthening of an EMEA Technology Office, dedicated to ensuring new technology can be effectively harnessed to bring Enterprise Asset Intelligence to life.

Zebra Technologies Corporation specialises in the design, manufacture and marketing of automatic identification and data capture technology systems. The products are mainly intended for the distribution, e-commerce, transportation, logistics and healthcare sectors. Net sales break down by category of products as follows:
- visibility and mobility systems (70%): mobile terminals (ruggedized computers, tablets, mobile radio transceivers, RFID readers, point-of-sale systems, interactive kiosks, etc.);
