ZEE Africa embraces its Corporate Social Responsibility

ZEE Africa has undertaken a noble initiative to benefit the South African community with its Corporate Social Responsibility. The ZEE Africa team volunteered to visit the underprivileged Cosmo Secondary School in Johannesburg as part of the ZEE CSR intiative. The team lead by CEO Harish Goyal donated a day to paint the class and help establish a new science lab for the school.

The team also took time to talk to the grade 12 students to give them a vision for future opportunities. It was time well invested with young scholars of impressionable minds, educating them on the various career options within the media and broadcast space and thus expanding their horizons.

ZEE Africa has also embraced the Tembisa Community Hospital in the previously disadvantaged township of Tembisa in Johannesburg, South Africa and has engaged with them to help upgrade their facilities with medical equipment for their surgical wing.

These CSR activities undertaken by ZEE in South Africa will also ensure achievement of the Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) ratings and score which is a mandatory requirement for future growth of the company in the country.
