Zee Africa takes the lead at the OTT and VOD Summit 2017

The OTT and VOD Summit Africa 2017 was held at the Radisson Hotel in Sandton, Johannesburg on the 7th and 8th of February 2017. Zee Africas CEO, Harish Goyal was a key note speaker on 'Scenarios for a Viable Local and Regional Content Discovery' and one of the panellists for a discussion on 'Rights and Licensing Management for VOD and OTT TV', at the OTT TV and VOD Summit Africa. Zee Africa was one amongst many leading brands in the world of content.
It was certainly an honour for us to be present at such a prestigious event to highlight the importance of local and regional content in the digital space.
ZEE's influence in the territory is ever growing. With four channels that cater exclusively to the African audience, Zee Africa has edged one step closer to fulfilling the 2020 vision. Africa's OTT and VOD market is growing, and ZEE is one of the pioneers in this field. ZEE's role as a broadcaster and content producer was highlighted at the summit as well as ZEE's digital presence.
The discussion concluded by bringing to light, ZEE's success in the African territory and future in digital which had been etched in the minds of attendees from media and broadcasting industry at this summit.
