Zee Tamil hosts the first-ever 'Zangout'

Zee Tamil hosted the first-ever Zangout during the last weekend of May at The Raintree Hotel in Chennai. Zangout was a one-of-a-kind initiative to Chat, Connect & Celebrate with its partners from Advertising agencies. The event was a roaring success & had representation from all the leading agencies in the state.

The event was attended by senior executives of Zee Tamil which included Mr. Siju Prabhakaran, Business Head, Mr. Rajnish Gupta, Cluster Head - South Channels & Mr. Giri Rao, National Sales head.

A new audio-visual detailing the year ahead for the channel was unveiled at the event & spoke about the upcoming show launches & how brands can benefit by associating with the channel.

Delivering the keynote, Mr. Siju Prabhakaran, Business Head said, 'Zee Tamil has established itself as a strong Number 3 brand in the Tamil Television space and is poised for strong growth in 2016-17. This will be backed by significant investments in sprucing up our content mix & high decibel marketing. Zangout also included an array of entertainment elements like a live performance by the band Staccato. Staccato is an experimental band whose very essence lies in assimilating a plethora of musical tradition across the globe and creating music that soothes the soul. Staccato has represented India at the World Finals of Tum Tum Pa- an innovative percussion event organized in Brazil & has performed at the London Olympics. It also featured the very popular Juggler 'Thrill' Veera who mesmerized audiences with his act.

Zangout ended late with everyone dancing into the night and with the promise of more celebrations in the next edition.
