Zhengzhou Yutong Bus : Yutong and ZTE jointly explores the market of new energy vehicles

Zhengzhou Yutong Bus Co., Ltd. and Zhongxing Telecommunication Equipment Corporation held a grand signing ceremony in Zhengzhou, capital city of Henan province, on December 31, 2014. The two parties will carry out cooperation in the field of wireless charging of new energy vehicles to jointly promote the development of new energy vehicle industry. Hu Quan, vice party chief of Zhengzhou, Ma Jian, vice mayor of Zhengzhou, Tang Yuxiang, president of Yutong Group, Hou Weigui, chairman of the board of ZTE, and other distinguished guests were present at the ceremony and witnessed the signing of the agreement.

Up to now Yutong has totally delivered 13,000 units of energy-saving and new energy buses, holding a safe lead in terms of market share with remarkable energy-saving effect and significant social and economic benefits.

ZTE also actively participates in the development and production of new energy vehicles, telematics and other strategic areas. At present, ZTE has made a major breakthrough in the field of new energy vehicle charging technology. The world's first high-power wireless charging circuit launched by ZTE has been put into commercial use, thus making ZTE become a world's leading company in terms of wireless charging of vehicles.

According to the strategic cooperation agreement, Yutong and ZTE will work together to jointly develop and industrialize the key technologies of wireless-charging electric vehicles, which includes the joint development of wireless charging solutions for electric buses, promoting the construction of commercial demonstration line of wireless-charging electric buses, boosting the popularity and sales of wireless-charging electric buses at home and abroad. After the signing of the agreement, Yutong and ZTE, based on the principle of "complementary advantages, mutual promotion, future-orientation, mutual benefits and win-win", will focus on the strategic development plans of both parties, give full play their advantages, carry out all-round cooperation and common development of new energy vehicle market in the field of wireless-charging key technology research and industrialization of electric vehicles so as to boost the rapid development of new energy vehicle industry in Zhengzhou and enhance Zhengzhou's ability in leading the industrial transformation and upgrading of central China's economic zone.
