This update serves to inform Zion shareholders and supporters about the accomplishments and pursuits of our board members outside of Zion Oil & Gas, Inc.

We at Zion Oil & Gas are very thankful that we have a wonderful and accomplished group serving on our Board of Directors. Recently, some of our directors received the following recognition:

Justin Furnace was recently awarded the 2015 Outstanding Young Alumni Award from his undergraduate alma mater, Hardin-Simmons University. Zion's President, Victor G. Carrillo, was asked to introduce Justin and to present the award on behalf of the university.

Glen Perry is again teaching in the Master's degree program in Petroleum Engineering at the Technion - Israel's Institute of Technology, consistently ranked among the world's top science and technology research universities. Glen is credited with providing the initial idea and syllabus for the program. This is the third year he has been teaching Drilling Engineering and he has taught Deepwater Operations in the past. It is an 18-month course of study towards a Masters of Energy Engineering degree.

Martin M. van Brauman was recently voted to be on the Advisory Board to the Jewish and Israel Studies Program at the University of North Texas (UNT). The UNT Jewish and Israel Studies Program is one of only seven such programs in the U.S. With 36,000 students, UNT offers a program of 47 courses on Judaism, Jewish history and Israel, leading to a minor in Jewish and Israel Studies as well as a certificate.

Martin's involvement in connecting the Jewish and Christian communities is not recent. He is the President of Jews and Christians United for Israel, Inc. and author of "Jews and Christians, Fellow Travelers Until the End of Days." You can find more about the mission here and get a free e-book here.

Martin is also a Capitol Club member of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee ("AIPAC") and a Christian Outreach participant. He recently attended the annual Policy Conference in Washington, D.C. and was a Group Leader with respect to lobbying Congress on key pro-Israel initiatives.
