Zoomlion Heavy Industry Sci & Tch : Belarusian Economy Minister Vladimir Zinovsky Visits Zoomlion

On April 26, a Belarusian delegation of government and enterprise representatives headed by Belarusian Economy Minister Vladimir Zinovsky made a visit to Zoomlion, warmly received by Xiong Yanming, Zoomlion vice president and its overseas company's general manager, and Tao Siyang, assistant general manager of Zoomlion overseas company.

Since last May when Zoomlion settled in the China-Belarus Industrial Park as one of the first Chinese enterprises and actively promoted the cooperation with Belarus's MAZ Group in localization of products, the Belarusian government has attached great importance to the development of Zoomlion's projects in the country. In February 2016, Belarusian Minister of Industry Vitaly Vovk personally came to Changsha to attend the annual meeting of Zoomlion Group; on April 7, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko reviewed the equipment jointly produced by Zoomlion and MAZ in the latter's plant; on April 12, Belarusian Minister of Industry Vitaly Vovk visited the booth of Zoomlion at Bauma 2016 in Germany; and on April 26, Belarusian Economy Minister Vladimir Zinovsky paid a visit to Zoomlion. All these events have fully demonstrated that Zoomlion's efforts to further implement its localization strategy have won great attention and support of the Belarusian government.

The 12-member delegation visited the equipment display ground and the Construction Machinery Museum in the Lugu Industrial Park. 'A marvelous enterprise of a great country. Wish Zoomlion be prospering with each passing day!' This is the message left by the minister on the autograph album in the Construction Machinery Museum.

After that, Xiong Yanming held a brief talk with the delegation. He briefed them on the latest development of Zoomlion projects in Belarus. 'At present, Zoomlion is not only promoting the development, assembly and certification of products suitable for the local market but also accelerating the long-term planning and construction of China-Belarus Industrial Park. Before the completion of the building of this industrial park, Zoomlion will have finished the design of business model and product certification in the local market, thus making good preparations for the market in advance,' said he. In regard to the current problems, Mr. Zinovsky said the Belarusian Ministry of Industry and he himself would try their best to solve them.
