Zumtobel Group: Alfred Felder appointed Chief Executive Officer

Dornbirn, Austria - The Supervisory Board of the Zumtobel Group announces that at today's meeting the Acting President of the Executive Board, Alfred Felder, has been unanimously appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with immediate effect.
On behalf of the Supervisory Board, its Chairman Jürg Zumtobel explains: 'The experience since Alfred Felder was appointed Acting President of the Executive Board in February this year has given the Supervisory Board the certainty that the new Management Board team under his leadership is up to the difficult task of putting the company back on track for success,'and continues,'we are therefore expressing our full confidence by formally appointing Mr. Felder as Chairman of the Management Board. In our view, this is a long-term solution to implement the further necessary changes in a consequent and consistent way.'
Alfred Felder emphasizes: 'On behalf of my colleagues on the Management Board, I would like to thank the Supervisory Board for their confidence. The mandate and conditions are now in place for us to continue the hard and productive work we have begun to restore the traditional performance of the Zumtobel Group with the utmost commitment and speed.'
