E.ON Eyes Link With Batista's Oil Group - FT

Brazil's richest man, Eike Batista, is in talks with German utility E.ON AG (EOAN.XE) over the creation of a joint venture to exploit Brazil's oil and gas reserves, the Financial Times reported on its website Sunday.

"We've asked Eon whether it would be interested in joining us in the E&P (exploration and -production) business," Batista told the FT in an interview.
