Civil Service Employees' Pension Fund (CSEPF) is the Government of Oman's civil service employees' pension fund. The fund was founded simultaneously with the introduction of the Law of Pensions and End of Service Benefits for Omani Nationals employed in the Government sector in 1986. Headquartered in Muscat, CSEPF is an independent government unit which implements provisions of the law in addition to managing and investing the pensions and end of service funds. The Fund is managed by a Board of Directors which lays out the Fund's general policies to administer and run day to day activities and manage and invest CSEPF's funds to maintain its value. The financial resources of the fund are comprised of contributions, returns on investments and other funds allocated by the government in the public budget.
