Russian businessman, banker, former Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation (1996-1997) in charge of economic, Vladimir Potanin is one of Russia's oligarchs. He is currently president of Interros, a holding company that controls the world's largest producer of nickel, Norilsk Nickel, which represents1.4% of Russian GDP. Vladimir Potanin's fortune was estimated by Forbes at $ 17.8 billion in 2011.
In 1978, Vladimir Potanin began studying at the Faculty of International Economic Relations of the former USSR, and at the Institute of International Relations in Moscow.
