2017-09-13 The Chatham Chamber will hold a free electronic recycling event on Saturday, October 7th at the Village Square in Chatham from 8:00am to 12:00pm.

Will be accepting materials for recycling listed below:

All computers and accessories, laptops, cell phones, home/office phones, printers, fax machines, all cable wires and cords, kindles, iPod, tablets, servers, modems, routers, cable boxes, satellite receivers, video game systems, VCR/DVR players, medical equipment, battery backups, circuit boards, flat screen TVs, refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, water heaters, microwaves, car and laptop batteries, all scrap metal, toner and ink cartridges!

THE ONLY ITEMS OF WHICH THERE IS A CHARGE FOR RECYCLING ARE CRT MONITORS AND TUBE TVs; THE FEE IS 25 CENTS PER POUND.

Items NOT ACCEPTED are: cardboard, wood, paper, glass, garbage, paint cans, house hold batteries, thermometers, light bulbs. If you have an item of which you are unsure please call 217-854-2730. For more information visit www.ultimateelectronicrecycling.com
