The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) video competition for
2012 is now open to eligible university students. With $5000
of prizes on offer, the challenge is to create a short video
in the style of a television commercial based on one of two
topics; TFN protection, or how the ATO contributes to a
sustainable society.
The competition is open to students enrolled in their last
year of study, in a course or program at an Australian
university.
Students will need to advise the ATO of their interest by
5:00pm on 1 July 2012, with submissions closing on
10 August 2012.
Videos will be assessed by a panel of communication
professionals, with shortlisted videos being uploaded to our
YouTube channel allowing the public to vote for their
favourite.
The people's choice prize will be determined by the
highest number of 'likes' across the ATO's
YouTube and Facebook pages.
The four competition winners will share a total of $5,000 in
gift vouchers to go towards their academic development.
Prizes are as follows:
1st place - $2,500
