CIC APPOINTS VICE PRESIDENT, PRODUCT MANAGEMENT Katherine Dease Named to the Newly Created Position

Redwood Shores, CA, April 30, 2013 - Communication Intelligence Corporation ("CIC" or the "Company") (OTCQB: CICI), a leading supplier of electronic signature solutions and the recognized leader in biometric signature verification, today reported it recently named Katherine Dease to the newly created position of Vice President, Product Management.

Katherine Dease began her career with AmSouth Bank and thereafter worked for Compass Brokerage, both in Birmingham, Alabama. She was subsequently employed by Ebix Corporation in Atlanta, Georgia, for over six years, where she held a variety of product development roles, including Senior Director, Product Development. She is a graduate of Birmingham-Southern College.
