(TAP) - The Confederation of Tunisian Citizen Enterprises (CONECT) reiterated its call for the immediate launch of a responsible economic and social dialogue extended to all forces and stakeholders, in order to agree on a national roadmap and specific objectives to bring the country out of the crisis.
It condemned in a statement released Friday, "all acts of looting, vandalism and aggression against persons, security forces and public and private property" recalling that "freedom of expression and the right to demonstrate, which is a fundamental gain for all Tunisians, must be exercised in a peaceful environment and with full respect for the law ".
The employers' organisation said "the salvation of Tunisia and responding to the expectations of Tunisians and regions rest in the implementation of serious reforms to stem the slippage of the country's financial situation, to put Tunisians back to work and revive investment."
