On Tuesday, March 21, The City's contractor will do the first layer of paving on Washington Street and Corky Avenue. They will begin setting up around 7 a.m. with paving to begin by 8 or 8:30. Once the asphalt is down there is a short cooling period before anyone can drive on it. Expect traffic delays. Access to the parking lots on Washington Street should not be affected.

Grinding of the upper layer of the existing roadway and final paving will take place next week. After that, the landscaping and artwork in the Farmer's Market roundabout will be completed.

Paving is weather dependent. In case of rain, paving will move to the next favorable weather day.
