French Current Account Deficit Wider In June

PARIS--France posted a wider current account deficit in June than May as a result of a larger goods deficit and a smaller services surplus, data from the Bank of France showed Monday.
The euro zone's second-largest economy recorded a 4.9 billion euro ($6.2 billion) current account deficit in June, compared with a EUR4 billion gap in May.
The goods deficit was EUR6.3 billion in June, compared with EUR5.7 billion in May, while the services surplus fell to EUR1.5 billion from EUR1.9 billion.
