Germany's Schaeuble : No Doubt Portugal Will Continue Reforms

BERLIN-German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble Wednesday praised Portugal for remaining focused on reforming its economy as a "shining example" of the euro zone's efforts to stabilize the 17-nation currency bloc.
"Portugal is doing extraordinary work in a difficult situation," Mr. Schaeuble told reporters on the sidelines of a conference at the German finance ministry. "Portugal is on the right path. Portugal will continue along the path, I have no doubt about that."
Mr. Schaeuble was making a brief statement together with Portuguese Finance Minister Vitor Gaspar.
