Government of the Russian Federation : Dmitry Medvedev to address an extended meeting of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security board

On April 12, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will speak at an extended board meeting of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security. The board members will discuss the results of the country's social and economic development in 2012, improvement of the demographic situation, efforts against unemployment, labour market development, efficiency of measures aimed at increasing citizens' living standards and reducing poverty, the work of the social welfare system and the availability of social services for citizens.

The Prime Minister will also present government awards to some social workers. 

The report on the results of the ministry's work in 2012 and plans for 2013 will be delivered by Minister of Labour and Social Security Maxim Topilin.
