HIPPO USA Introduces Tertia Cassette System and Kalmar RT240 Handling System

HIPPO USA is pleased to announce the introduction of the Tertia Cassette system and Kalmar's RT240 for the deployment of the HIPPO USA Tertia Frac system. The Tertia Cassette system is a highly efficient proppant transport and storage system designed to address mine-to-frac site delivery and storage logistics. Tertia Cassette eliminates demurrage and detention charges, dedicated equipment, and drivers. Proppant can be directly loaded into the Tertia Cassette container at the mine site, shipped by rail to the nearest rail spur, off loaded to a truck and delivered to the frac site for storage in our Tertia Stor system or for immediate use. Tertia Cassette provides the proppant provider, service provider, and ultimately the client the greatest efficiencies, reducing the overall cost of production, and providing a cleaner, safer work environment.

In addition to the Tertia Cassette system, HIPPO USA is proud to introduce the Kalmar RT240 as our equipment-handling system of choice. The Kalmar RT240 is ideal for both small and large fracking footprints, as it lends itself well to crowded or tight spaces. Designed to stack and unstack 20ft to 53ft containers up to three containers high, the RT240 is capable of lifting up to 23 tons. Norbert Steiger, HIPPO USA CEO, expressed complete confidence in the Kalmar RT240, stating that the design and the capabilities of the equipment will provide the oil & gas industry with the most efficient, user-friendly and advanced container-handling system ever developed. The Kalmar RT240 was initially designed to provide handling solutions to the U.S. Military.
