The Rural Fire Service has ordered a total fire ban in South East Queensland for Thursday.
Blustery winds and a dry air mass have heightened the bushfire risk and all burn permits have been revoked.
Fire Wardens may, with the permission of the Chief Fire Warden, issue a permit to light fires for the purpose of burning standing sugar cane or sugar cane trash in accordance with industry practice.
