NY Fed : Total New Central Bank Dollar Swap Borrowings $1.4 Billion In Latest Week

Total new borrowings from the Federal Reserve's central bank swap facility were $1.4 billion in the latest week.
Total borrowing for the week ended April 11 stood at $32.471 billion, compared to $46.482 billion the week before, according to data released Thursday by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
The dollar swap facility allows the world's major central banks to ensure they have continued access to dollar liquidity. Borrowing levels have been on the decline as Europe's financial crisis has seemed less dire.
