Columbus, OH - Nationwide leaders Gale King and Gary
Douglas have been named to Black Enterprise's 2012 100 Most
Powerful Executives in Corporate America.
The publications editorial team conducted six months of
intensive research to identify dynamic, high-level
professionals who are leading and re-engineering a vast
array of businesses. The list is comprised of top
executives that significantly contribute to their company's
revenues. These executives are from the top 1,000
publically traded companies or at corporations grossing
revenues of $1 billion or more. The 2012 Black Enterprise
Most Powerful Executives list is the cover feature of the
September 2012 issue of Black Enterprise Magazine,
currently on newsstands.

Gale King is Executive Vice President and Chief
Administrative Officer for Nationwide Mutual Insurance
Company, one of the largest insurance and financial
services companies in the United States. King oversees the
company's HR strategy, talent acquisition, compensation and
benefits, development, succession management,
organizational effectiveness and diversity and inclusion
efforts. She is also responsible for Nationwide's
corporate real estate, aviation and corporate security
offices. King graduated from the University of Florida with
a bachelor's degree in journalism and a master's
degree in public administration.
Gary Douglas is President and Chief Operating Officer of
Nationwide Agribusiness. Nationwide Agribusiness is the #1
insurer of farms in the country. He oversees the company's
commercial agribusiness and farm and ranch products, a s
well as Nationwide's surety and fidelity bonds business.
Douglas was promoted to his role in 2007, after serving as
regional vice president for Allied Insurance and Nationwide
Insurance. Douglas received his undergraduate degree from
St. Cloud State University and his MBA from Eastern
Michigan University.
