webinar titled, "Machine Vision for Factory Automation," on
Wednesday, October 17th at 2:00 p.m. EDT. The live webinar,
presented by Dave Richardson, Vision Solutions Provider for
Teledyne DALSA, will highlight the steps required in
evaluating and implementing a cost-effective machine vision
system.
Machine vision is a key technology for improving the
quality and productivity of manufacturing lines through
factory automation. This webinar will explain the factors
that need to be considered when selecting a vision solution
based on application requirements. Critical steps that will
be covered include: defining the vision system's task,
determining the time required for solution development,
building an inspection system, installation and integration
on to the factory floor. In addition, specific examples of
machine vision applications for positioning, identifying,
verifying, measuring and flaw detection will also be
discussed.
