The Recycling Center will be closed on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 for the entire day. This will allow the contractor to safely complete final surface paving. This includes access to the Swap Shop and the Bottle Redemption Building.

Residents will still be able to dispose of trash, recyclables, appliances and bulky wastes out where the 'Silver Bullet' recycling containers are currently located in the area of the Salt Shed. The attendants will be there to help residents needing assistance.

The site will reopen on Friday, July 28 at 8 a.m., when the new stationary compactors will be placed in service.

For more information please contact Public Works, 207-799-4151.
