Treasury : Next FSOC Meeting Set for Sept. 28

WASHINGTON--The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Financial Stability Oversight Council will occur on Friday, Sept. 28, Treasury announced Friday. Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, the Council's chairman, will oversee the closed session.
Created by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street reform law, the Council, known as FSOC, is charged with identifying threats and responding to emerging risks to the U.S. financial system.
