Eiffage continues its commitment to the climate and the reduction of greenhouse gases and publishes its 5th climate report.

The Eiffage climate report

In 2020, the Group adopted the European Union roadmap on corporate climate reporting and aligned itself with the 1.5-degree trajectory adopted by the Paris Agreement in 2015. Since then, the Group has published, each year, its climate report, in light of its commitments, its strategy and the international reporting method known as 'TCFD' (Task Force on Climate-related Disclosures), created in 2017 by the G20.

The 2024 climate report

In October 2023, the Group had its short-term emissions reduction targets validated by the SBTi (Science-based targets initiative), and is committed to a longer-term 'net zero' ambition in 2050.

The new report climate presents: The commitments of the Group's general management and its objectives for reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 across the entire value chain; Biodiversity and circular economy strategies intertwined with low carbon ambitions; The actions carried out in each profession with their potential for reducing emissions; Work to make extra-financial data more reliable, which is part of the transparency requirement expected by the European CSRD (Corporate sustainability reporting directive) regulation, applicable from the next financial year.

Annual greenhouse gas emissions in France and internationally for scopes 1, 2 and 3 upstream and downstream, as well as tracking the trajectory in France and internationally.
