Auren Energia SA, formerly known as VTRM Energia Participacoes SA, is a Brazil-based energy holding company focused on investing and developing clean energy generation in Brazil. The objective of the Company and its subsidiaries is the planning, construction, installation, operation and maintenance of wind and hydroelectric power generation systems, as well as the commercialization of energy produced by these systems. Auren Energia’s operations are divided into three business segments, the Wind Power Generation segment, the Hydroelectric Power Generation and Commercialization segment as well as the Holding segment. The Company has several subsidiaries, including CESP Companhia Energetica de Sao Paulo, Ventos de Sao Vicente Participacoes Energias Renovaveis SA, and Jaiba V Holding SA.
