Stride, Inc. announced On May 15, 2024, Dr. Craig R. Barrett notified the company of his decision not to stand for re-election to the board of directors of the Company (the ?Board?) at the 2024 annual meeting of stockholders (?Annual Meeting?) and will retire from the Board and from the role of Chair of the Board, effective at the conclusion of the Annual Meeting. Dr. Barrett confirmed to the Board that his decision not to stand for re-election was not the result of any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company?s operations, policies, or practices. On May 15, 2024, the Company determined that the Company?s Chief Executive Officer, James J. Rhyu, will succeed Dr. Barrett as Chair of the Board and that Steven B. Fink will be appointed as the Company?s lead independent director, both effective at the conclusion of the Annual Meeting.
