(MT Newswires) -- Barbara Humpton, CEO of Siemens US, unveils the company's $2.2 billion investment strategy to strengthen the production of advanced technologies. The plan includes $510 million in new production capacity and a new factory specialising in electrical equipment. Siemens is also strengthening its presence in the field of artificial intelligence by collaborating with technology giants such as AWS and Microsoft, and by partnering with Sony to develop a VR headset.
