Airbus Helicopters has signed a contract with the Brunei Ministry of Defense for the purchase of six H145M helicopters, an aircraft 'renowned for its high performance and versatility', the manufacturer points out.

Replacing its former fleet of BO105s, Brunei's H145Ms will be used to enhance the air force's operational capabilities for missions such as close air support and aerial observation.

The H145M is a versatile military helicopter offering a wide range of mission capabilities.

Brunei is the latest country to order the H145M, after Cyprus, Germany, Hungary, Luxembourg, Serbia and Thailand.
