. The transaction has been closed for a total amount of $222 Mn (€179 Mn).

Abertis, through its fully owned subsidiary Desarrollo de Concesiones Aeroportuarias, has closed the disposal of its full stake (33.33%) in Aeropuertos Mexicanos del Pacífico (AMP) to its Mexican partner Controladora Mexicana de Aeropuertos (CMA) for a net amount of $222 Mn (€179 Mn).

The deal is the almost final step in the process of divestment of the airport business, which started in 2013 with the sale of the Cardiff airport (United Kingdom), and continued with the disposal of the Belfast International (United Kingdom) and Stockholm Skavsta (Sweden) airports, as well as the Orlando Sanford (Florida, USA) airport terminal concessions and TBI's airport management business in the USA. In November, Abertis completed the sale of its stake in Luton airport (United Kingdom).

Abertis' stake in Aeropuertos Mexicanos del Pacífico (AMP) goes back to 2007, when a pack of airport assets was acquired along with Desarrollo de Concesiones Aeroportuarias (DCA). GAP operates 12 airports in Mexico.
