Accenture (NYSE:ACN) Duck Creek policy software has been positioned by Gartner as a ‘Leader’ in its “Magic Quadrant for Property and Casualty Insurance Policy Management Modules, North America”1 for the second consecutive year.

The company was positioned in the Leaders quadrant for its “ability to execute” and “completeness of vision.” The Magic Quadrant report evaluated seven providers' capabilities to supply full, end-to-end policy management and issuance functionality and focuses on North American vendors that have demonstrated an ability to scale their solutions to support the business needs of Tier 1-3 insurers within North America. The report can be viewed here.

“Insurers buying these solutions are increasingly focused on speed to deployment. They are seeking vendors that offer mature policy management modules (and complementary systems) with comprehensive functionality and out-of-the box-content. A proven track record of supporting relevant LOBs and a proven ability to support rapid implementations are essential. To reflect these market realities, Gartner has more heavily weighted the evaluation criteria under Ability to Execute that deal with product or service offerings, market responsiveness/record and customer experience,” wrote Jeff Haner, Gartner analyst and report author.

Patti Griffin, global product lead for Accenture Duck Creek, said, “It is an honor to be recognized by Gartner as an industry leader in P&C insurance policy management solutions for the second consecutive year. Through our best-of-breed software, proven track record of successful implementations, and ongoing product releases, we’re helping insurers of all sizes transform their businesses, remain current, and gain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.”

Accenture Duck Creek software has also been named a Leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Property and Casualty Insurance Claims Management Modules for the past two years. The most recent report was published in June 2015.

Duck Creek Policy is part of the suite that includes Duck Creek Billing, Duck Creek Claims and Duck Creek Rating software. The configurable software is designed to work independently or as a combined approach to manage all aspects of the P&C insurance lifecycle. The software can be deployed through an on-premise implementation or via Duck Creek On-Demand, a Software as a Service model.
