ADP : Aéroports de Paris: December 2014 traffic figures

2014 Traffic
Aéroports de Paris handled a total of 92.7 million passengers in 2014; an increase of 2.6% compared to the previous year. Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport welcomed 63.8 million passengers (+2.8%) and Paris-Orly Airport 28.9 million (+2.1%); new record figures for both airports. Traffic increased by 4.2% over the 1st half the year and by 1.2% over the 2nd half. All months, with the exception of September, which was impacted by the Air France pilots' strike, were also record months for Aéroports de Paris.
Traffic mix was positive with international traffic (excluding Europe) up by 1.9%, driven to the following destinations: the Middle East (+6.7%); Asia-Pacific (+3.1%); Latin America (+1.4%); North America (+1.4%); Africa (+0.7%). Only the French Overseas Territories saw a slight drop (-0.2%);
European traffic (excluding France) grew strongly (+5.3%);
Traffic within France was down (-2.0%);
The number of connecting passengers increased by 0.6%. The connecting rate stood at 23.4% down by 0.8 points;
Passenger traffic at TAV Airports, 38%-owned by Aéroports de Paris, increased by 13.7% in 2014(1).
Traffic for December
In December 2014, Aéroports de Paris saw 7.3 million passengers; an increase of 3.2% on December 2013. 5.0 million passengers travelled through Paris-Charles de Gaulle (+3.9%) and 2.3 million through Paris-Orly (+1.5%).
International traffic (excluding Europe) was up slightly, by 0.1%, with growth in the following destinations: the Middle East (+5.9%) and Asia-Pacific (+3.7%). Other destinations were down: the French Overseas Territories (-3.4%); Africa (-2.4%); Latin America (-0.7%); and North America (-0.1%);
European traffic (excluding France) grew strongly (+7.4%) and traffic within France was up (+1.3%);
The number of connecting passengers increased by 2.1%. The connecting rate stood at 25.8%, down by 0.1 points.
Passenger traffic at TAV Airports increased by 16.9% in December 2014.
