The Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych) has chosen IntegraNG, the CRM, membership and exams management solution from Advanced NFP (Advanced), following a full competitive review process. IntegraNG will become the organisation's centalised data platform to manage all membership services, including examinations, continual professional development (CPD), finance, marketing, events and training. The decision to implement the IntegraNG solution is part of the RCPsych's ongoing investment in technology to ensure it delivers maximum value for its membership fees.

The RCPsych is the professional body responsible for education, training, setting and raising standards in psychiatry. The organisation has 16,000 members who follow a formal examination  and CPD path to become qualified as full members. The IntegraNG solution will manage all membership, training and exams services including the integration with the RCPsych website.

"We have very complex examination and membership requirements which require extensive functionality. The Advanced  IntegraNG platform offers a low-risk option in terms of data transfer as well as manageable costs. As a functionally rich solution, we avoid additional development costs which have the risk of escalating outside of the agreed budget. In addition, we will be lowering costs by automating processes. This will allow us to streamline activity, remove most of our paper processes and essentially operate more efficiently," comments Paddy Padmanathan, Director of Finance & Operations at the Royal College of Psychiatrists.

Advanced's reputation for successful project implementation and excellent customer service was another important part of the decision to choose IntegraNG.

"Advanced also offers financial stability with a long-term product vision that will support our future goals. Several positive references assured us that previous projects of a similar nature had been well received. Advanced's proven track record in this area gave us confidence that the project would be completed successfully with little risk of interruption to services," Padmanathan explains.

"Looking ahead, we want to ensure all aspects of the organisation is using IntegraNG. For example, the fund-raising team will be able to interrogate the data held within IntegraNG to drive new strategies to engage donors more effectively."

Simon Fowler, Managing Director of Advanced Business Solutions (Advanced NFP), comments: "The Royal College of Psychiatrists is continually looking to modernise its services and we are proud that it has chosen our solution as its strategic long-term data platform. The integration of its back office and online membership services will ensure the organisation can take advantage of its data to engage members and donors more effectively."
