Kames Capital, part of Aegon Asset Management, has appointed Martin Davis as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

He will join the company on October 1, 2013, subject to regulatory approval. Mr. Davis' appointment completes the changes to Kames' senior leadership team announced earlier this year, including the separation of the CEO and Chief Investment Officer (CIO) roles.

As CEO, Mr. Davis will focus on strategic direction, governance and overseeing the overall development of Kames. He will work alongside Stephen Jones, who was named CIO earlier this year following his successful contribution to the Kames' fixed incomefranchise.
